We are recruiting for passionate Healthcare Assistants to join our Sheffield location. We are looking for Healthcare Assistants who will interact with our clients residents on a daily basis and provide the highest standards of person centred care, ensuring the best possible standard of care at all times.
This will involve undertaking a range of duties, including
Helping residents to get up from & return to bed
Assisting with dressing & personal hygiene
Serving meals and assisting with feeding where necessary
Assisting residents to walk around the home and participate in activities and events that are taking place.
In addition, you will help to maintain the dignity, privacy, individuality, rights and choices of each resident in everything you do.

NVQ Level 2 in Care is desirable but not essential
Experience of caring for older people gained at work
To have an understanding of the needs of older people in residential and nursing settings is desirable
Ability to communicate effectively and work with and for older people is essential
Ability to communicate effectively and work with a wide range of colleagues is essential
Ability to use a range of equipment in providing safe care to residents is essential
Literacy and numeracy skills in order to undertake written work associated with the post is essential
Physically fit to undertaken the range of tasks involved in providing a nursing service to residents is essential.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
10/12 hour shift
As a provider of care to the elderly community, By law, all staff will now need to be fully (both jabs ) from November 11th 2021. This will be a condition of employment.
