Support Staff for Families

We have vacancy’s for experienced Support Staff to work with families and children in their own homes. Mileage paid in addition if needed.

We are not able to offer sponsorship at this time.

As a family support worker, you’ll offer practical help and emotional support to families experiencing short or long-term difficulties.

The focus of your role is to provide hands-on support to the families, encouraging them and empowering them to address various challenges, helping reducing problems and risks and, in some cases, helping to make sure that children can remain with their family.

You might help parents and children with a range of social and personal issues or specialise in a particular area such as domestic abuse, bereavement or homelessness.

You could be involved in the following challenges faced by our families:  

behaviour and social interaction
bereavement and caring responsibilities
domestic violence and abuse
drug and alcohol addiction
education and learning
language barriers
learning difficulties
mental or physical health issues
parenting skills
disabilities and learning difficulties.

We have a variety of shifts to choose from-  days, early and late’s-  weekends / nights   Full mandatory training and location specific available / provided / Pre and block bookings available in advance.



12.00 - £14.50 plus additional mileage
