Precedo Healthcare is recruiting experienced home care and community care staff to join our Sheffield weekend team – This role is dedicated to providing exceptional, dignified end-of-life care to clients within the comfort of their own homes in particular over the weekend.
We are looking for compassionate, reliable carers who are genuinely passionate about delivering person-centred care with the utmost dignity and respect during our peak weekend hours.
The Role
- Core Responsibilities: Delivering essential physical care and vital emotional support to individuals at the end of life, as well as supporting their families.
- Teamwork: Working on double-handed calls across the Sheffield area to ensure safety and robust support.
- Weekend Shifts: Shift work covering Saturdays and Sundays. Typical shifts run from 06.45–14:15 and 15:30–22:00, though exact times may vary.
What We Are Looking For
- Availability: Ability to work weekend shifts and maybe pick up additional
- Experience: Previous professional experience in care or support work is essential, particularly around medication support.
- Skills: Strong communication, reliability, patience, and a practical approach to complex care needs. You should feel confident using electronic systems for care notes and medication logs.
- Transport: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, though non-drivers will be considered.
- Compliance: A fully enhanced DBS check, or a willingness to apply for one.
