We act ethically and with integrity in all business relationships and maintain effective systems and controls to prevent slavery and human trafficking in any part of our business or supply network.

This statement supports and operates alongside the policies, procedures, and requirements within our Integrated Management System, which is compliant with ISO 9001:2015. The operation of this system underlines our commitment to the principles set out in this policy.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, workers, and contractors engaged by Precedo Healthcare Services Ltd.

Our Business and Supply Chains

Our workforce includes employed and contracted care professionals, supported by corporate, training, and compliance teams.
Our supply chains include PPE and uniform suppliers, training providers, IT and communications partners, recruitment agencies, and property and maintenance contractors — all UK-based.

Our Approach

We recognise that modern slavery and human trafficking remain hidden crimes within global supply chains.
We are alert to any potential risks and expect all staff to report concerns so that immediate action can be taken.

Formal procedures are in place to prevent, identify, and respond to instances of slavery or trafficking, supported by disciplinary processes where breaches occur.
This policy is communicated to all staff and regularly reviewed by the Directors to ensure it remains current and effective.

Our Commitments

We meet our obligations through the following actions:

  • Conducting stringent vetting and due diligence on suppliers and contractors, including checks on ownership, employment practices, and compliance with UK law.
  • Auditing and reviewing practices to ensure all employees receive at least the National Minimum Wage and have verified right-to-work documentation.
  • Encouraging whistleblowing and protecting anyone who raises concerns in good faith.
  • Rejecting any business relationships with organisations involved in slavery or human trafficking.
  • Maintaining zero tolerance for slavery and trafficking and requiring the same standards from all suppliers and partners.
  • Providing training and briefings on modern slavery risks to relevant staff. All Directors have been briefed on this topic.

Measuring Effectiveness

We assess effectiveness using the following indicators:

  • Completion of audits by Directors, Managers, and Safety Advisors.
  • Ongoing monitoring through labour and payroll systems.
  • Direct communication with suppliers to confirm understanding and compliance with our ethical standards.

Governance and Accountability

Responsibility for implementing this policy rests with the Managing Director, who oversees compliance through the company’s Governance and Quality Framework. Progress and any identified risks are reviewed at quarterly management and governance meetings.

Continuous Improvement

This statement will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect any changes in legislation, organisational structure, or supply chain practices.
